Seinfeld Live!

A few weeks ago, Brian was lucky enough to nab some tickets to see Seinfeld live. The show was at the Portland Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall which is a really cool old theater downtown.

They didn't allow cameras in...but they didn't expect us to have our camera BINOCULARS! (pictured above) A useless prize from a contest Brian won last year. So the images aren't the best quality, but they at least serve as proof of us being there!

Last weekend we drove to Cannon Beach with a few friends. The beach was foggy when we got there.

Foggy and windy (exhibit: Olive)

The humongous rocks looked ghostly.

However, the fog kept rolling in and out to make room for some sun!

The tide was out quite far and there were plenty of people checking out the tide pools.

Olive and Renee spotted some pretty cool stuff too...

Delicious starfish!

Albert the Chipmunk

Olive just found out she has a new friend today. His name is Albert and he is a chipmunk that used to be a glove. Her Gramma Ingrid made it for her. I think they will be best friends. Thanks Mom, she absolutely loves it and you are so talented, I'm extremely impressed :)

Doggie Dash!

There was an all doggy event downtown on Sat. This was the Ugliest Dog Competition :)

Wow.

Frisbee catch!

Olive met a dinosaur.

The First 'First Thursday'

Every First Thursday of the month Portland hosts an art walk right downtown.

This was the first time Renee displayed there. She did her best to stay warm.

There are a lot of people with money walking around, that's for sure. Looks like she will be doing it again that's for sure!

Van Gogh never looked so good.

Brian did a project last week where he gave his students a small section of "Starry Night" and they had to blow it up and mix the colors for it. We assembled it on our floor. They used up a lot of blue oil pastels.

It's 5 ft x 7 ft and is currently covering an entire wall of the office at school.

Olive "buries" socks

It's hard to bury something when you don't understand the principles of how things get buried.

Lovejoy Street

Here is an after photo to the previous cherry blossom trees on Lovejoy. Olive and I past them everyday and I thought it was a cool comparison to have all the flowers fallen in this photo vs. the one where they are just blooming.

I also took a quick shot of Olive in the petals, I thought this was a cool angle.
