
This past weekend we went to stay the cabin of one of Renee's clients. It was about 10 minutes away from the top of Mt. Hood.

The trees were furry up there.

A few minutes away there was a really nice hike through the woods. Parts of it were an old broken down highway. My car was dwarfed by the rock face.

We found the waterfall that everyone was talking about.

This tree was cool - you could literally stand under it.

Renee took about 50 pictures of this banana slug. But Brian put his foot down (not on the slug) when she wanted to take it home with her.

We found a hidden trail and explored the forest a little.

After we returned we made a nice fire. Our friend Lori came to chill with the first day, which was awesome cause she was a mean fire builder. Unfortunately because of the fire we needed to chop more wood...something us city folks aren't exactly used to....
